PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE: The personal representative is the ultimate and final authority for Scottish Rite decisions and activities in the Austin Valley. All plans, proposals, committee actions, appointees, appointee delegates and other Scottish Rite members are subject to the final decision or direction of the personal representative. The S.G.I.G's Personal Representative is an ex-officio member of all committees.
GENERAL SECRETARY: The General Secretary is the primary executive officer who serves at the pleasure of the S.G.I.G. and the S.G.I.G’s Personal Representative. The General Secretary is responsible for the implementation and execution of all directives and actions ultimately approved by the S.G.I.G.’s Personal Representative and the Executive Committee. The General Secretary is an ex-officio member of all committees of the Valley, except the Steering Committee and the Executive Committe. He is the Chairman of the Steering Committee and a member of the Executive Committee.
TREASURER(S): The Treasurers serve at the pleasure of the S.G.I.G.'s personal representative. The Austin Scottish Rite Bodies, Learning Center and Theatre each have their own treasurer who is the CFO of his respective Scottish Rite entity in the Austin Valley. These officers are responsible for the daily oversight and direction of the financial transactions of the Bodies, Learning Center, Theater and the Almoner. The Bodies Treasurer is an ex-officio member of all committees of the Valley.
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE: Robert A Northcutt, 33°, Chairman. The Executive Committee is composedof the Personal Representative who serves as Chairman, the four presiding officers, the Almoner, Treasurer and Secretary, and such additional members who may be appointed by the Personal Representative. The Almoner, Treasurer, Secretary and such additional members as may be appointed by the Personal Representative are ex-officio non-voting members of the Executive Committee.
EDUCATION COMMITTEE: Dr. Jerry Casebolt, 33°, Chairman. The Education Committee is a committee of one. The Chairman may solicit input and gather assistance as necessary to ensure that educational programs are consistently provided to the Valley of Austin. Every month, Dr. Casebolt holds a discussion group on Masonic Symbolism and also arranges enrichment programs which take place before the stated meeting.
