The Austin Scottish Rite

The Scottish Rite Bodies of Austin are located at the historic Scottish Rite Theatre and Temple, across the street from the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin's historic Capital District.

Wednesday, March 3, 2010: 7:30 pm: Stated Meeting: Dr. Jerry Casebolt continues his lecture series on Masonic Symbolism with a discussion of the symbolism of the 4th degree, The Order of the Garde Manger will provide a tasty meal for all to enjoy. The Austin Scottish Rite Maundy Thursday presentation will take place at 7:30. Then, catch up with everything going on in the Valley of Austin at the Austin Scottish Rite Stated Meeting.

Saturday, March 27, 2010: Spring Reunion: An excellent opportunity for Masons desiring to take the Scottish Rite degrees and become a Master of the Royal Secret in One Day. This will be an outstanding reunion; please mark your calendars accordingly.

Saturday, April 3, 2010: Scottish Rite Dormitory Tour. Tour begins at 11:00 am at the Dormitory. This is one of the "Crown Jewels" of Scottish Rite Masonry. Don't miss it. Mary Mazurek, administrator of the Scottish Rite Dormitory will lead the tour.

Wednesday, April 7, 2010, Stated Meeting: Dr. Jerry Casebolt continues his lecture series on Masonic Symbolism with a discussion of the symbolism of the 4th degree, The Order of the Garde Manger will provide a tasty meal for all to enjoy.Then, catch up with everything going on in the Valley of Austin at the Austin Scottish Rite Stated Meeting. Following the meeting, the Onion Creek degree team will exemplify the 19th degree.

Saturday, April 10, 2010: Scottish Rite Hospital Tour. Tour begins at 11:30 am at the Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas. This is one of the "Crown Jewels" of Scottish Rite Masonry. Don't miss it. The tour will start with lunch provided by the Scottish Rite Hospital. The cost of the trip is $25 + $1 tip for the driver. More details to come soon.
